Leeds Dog Park Terms and Conditions

 

Booking Policy

  • Bookings are made online at www.leedsdogpark.co.uk or by the Leeds Dog Park app.

  • Payment must be made at the time of booking by Credit/Debit Card or PayPal. Booking is confirmed when payment is received.

  • The booked time slot must be adhered to as the time slot cannot be extended if you arrive late.

  • Dogs must remain in your vehicle until the start of your booked time slot and then returned to your vehicle before the end of the booked time slot.

  • Bookings are non-transferable and the person making the booking must be present whilst using Leeds Dog Park, anyone else in attendance must be made aware of these terms and conditions. Children must be supervised at all times.

  • Cancellations with a minimum of 48hours notice can be refunded minus the £0.50 booking fee.

  • Cancellations with a minimum of 24hours notice can be re-scheduled.

  • Leeds Dog Park reserves the right to refuse a booking.

  • All dogs using Leeds Dog Park must be up to date with annual vaccinations.

  • The hirer of Leeds Dog Park must not sublet the booked time slot.

  • The ground can be uneven, appropriate foot wear must be worn at all times.

  • No glass bottles.

  • The hirer must check the condition and height of fences and gates to make sure it is suitable to contain their dog(s). Any damage or problems with fencing or gates should be reported immediately to Leeds Dog Park – 07971 280038

 

Special Instructions for XL Bully and Exempt Dogs

  • The dog is registered with the index of exempted dog (IED) and a copy of the life certificate is obtained and provided to us in the event of a claim.

  • A copy of the public liability insurance certificate for the dog is obtained and provided to us in the event of a claim.

  • The dog ratio is 1:1 with their handler at all times unless with other dogs from the same household.

  • The dog is Neutered – in line with Government Rules.

  • The dog is Micro Chipped.

  • The dog is kept on a lead and muzzled until the gate is shut when entering the park.

  • You can remove the lead and muzzle once inside the secured park.

  • The dog is put back on a lead and muzzled before opening the gate to leave the park.

  • If the household has more than one dog, they can come to the field together, the banned breed dog can be supervised alongside the other dogs. All dog’s lead’s and muzzles can be removed once in the secured park. 

  • If there is more than one banned breed in the household, they can come together but each banned breed dog must have its own handler. All dog’s lead’s and muzzles can be removed once in the secured park. 

  • If there are dogs from different households, the banned breed will need to remain muzzled and on a lead at all times with a 1:1 handler.

  • Owners and handlers should follow up to date guidelines on government legislation as it emerges.

 

Code of Conduct

  • Unless within the secure area of the Dog Park, all dogs must remain on leads at all times.

  • Dogs must not be left unattended at any point during your time at Leeds Dog Park.

  • All dog poo must be collected in a dog poo bag and placed in the bin provided. Dog poo bags are available in the shelter.

  • If bringing food and drink, please take any litter home with you.

  • Please leave Leeds Dog Park clean and tidy (as you would expect to find it) for the next client.

  • Everyone’s co-operation in keeping Leeds Dog Park clean and tidy is essential, anyone found not adhering to this and potentially making the next clients experience below expectation will be asked to leave without refund and will not be able to return.

 

Liability

  • The use of Leeds Dog Park is at the users’ own risk without exception.

  • Users of Leeds Dog Park are responsible for any injury or damage caused by their dog(s) and are accountable for the behaviour of their dog(s) at all times.

  • Owners leave vehicles parked at Leeds Dog Park at their own risk.

  • Users must inspect the park and equipment on arrival to ensure it is safe, secure and suitable for use.

  • You are entirely responsible for both your own and your dog(s) safety whilst at Leeds Dog Park. Leeds Dog Park is not responsible for any harm or injury caused to you or your dog(s).

  • Any damages caused at Leeds Dog Park must be paid for in full by the hirer.
